Job Title: Social Media Marketing Assistant

Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be pivotal in planning and executing paid advertising campaigns across multiple channels including Google Ads, social media, and email. This role requires a proactive approach to driving new customer growth for our B2C e-commerce business, with a strong focus on profitability and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Plan, create, and execute paid adverts and email campaigns. Monitor the success of these campaigns against profitability targets and provide feedback.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Analyse ad performance to ensure alignment with growth objectives across our product portfolio. Regularly report on campaign results and strategise improvements.
  • Content Marketing: Drive content marketing activities across social media, blogs, and newsletters to support both paid and organic growth initiatives.
  • Compliance and Administration: Manage ad hoc marketing tasks and ensure all marketing activities comply with legal standards.
  • Innovation and Market Expansion: After initial guidance and training, take initiative to learn and implement new creative strategies and product ideas based on the 4/5 P’s of marketing and customer journey enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in e-commerce or B2C environments.
  • Knowledge of the customer’s journey and experience from a social media marketing perspective.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and tools such as Google Analytics.
